Toby is the gold standard. My husband and I were anxious about hiring a professional photographer for our wedding for two main reasons: They are often expensive (especially for weddings) and neither of us have ever worked with a photographer before! After our very first "meeting" on Zoom, we were immediately at ease and excited to work with him. Toby stayed in touch until the wedding and his presence and work on our wedding day was incredible. His demeanor and smile lights up a room, allowing you to really put your best face forward, so to speak. In the chaos of a wedding, no matter how small, things feel... well, chaotic. Toby got some really amazing shots of us and our families, and then took the most beautiful pictures of just the two of us, stepping away from the group for a moment and giving us a second to all laugh and breathe together. I cannot recommend Toby enough! After lots of research, I decided to go with Toby to photograph my proposal. He took the time to meet with me, talk through my plan (to ensure my finance didn’t notice him before the proposal), and was so accommodating through the process. Toby is very personable and made us both feel comfortable, as if we were hanging out with a friend. The photos came out incredible. He managed to make our perfect afternoon look even more magical on camera. He gave the perfect amount of direction during our photo shoot while also leaving room for us to be ourselves, capturing the perfect photos.
